Practice I of the house

Write the bar. Then build.

Requirements, solution shape, and the security bar. Written architecture for government and private sector teams in Egypt that will not start engineering on a slide.

  • Deliverable

    A written note

  • For

    Gov and private

  • When

    Before code

  • Limit

    Not a build

Drawing A-00

Read it from the roof down.

This is the section through the note. Operation at the ground. The security bar at the roof. Engineering is below the drawing. It is not this engagement.

  1. 04

    The bar

    Roof

Encryption, access, audit, and isolation. Named in the note. Not implied. Not a product SKU. Confirmed in discovery and written into scope.

  2. 03

    The form

    Level

What we will build, integrate, and refuse. Modules, edges, and the first scope. The shape you can hold in a meeting.

  3. 02

    The decisions

    Level

Requirements framed as yes or no. Not a backlog dump. Not a wishlist. The record of what must be true.

  4. 01

    The operation

    Ground

The entity as it runs today. Government or private sector. The people, the systems, and the constraints the architecture must serve.

Below the bar, engineering begins. That work is a different written agreement.Cairo

When this practice sits

Before the expensive drawing becomes code.

Architecture sits when a system is about to exist, change, connect, or be held to a bar. Not after the team has already started.

  1. 01

    You will build

A new platform or module. The note exists before engineering is scoped.

  2. 02

    You will replace

A system that no longer holds. The form is written before the cutover is planned.

  3. 03

    You will connect

Systems, vendors, or agencies. The edges are named before an API is promised.

  4. 04

    You need the bar

Security in writing, before a vendor or a team starts. The bar is the deliverable.

The edges

What this practice will not claim.

Architecture is counsel. If the next act is software, that is Solutions. If the system already runs, that is hardening.

  1. Cl. 01

Not a software delivery contract. When the note says build, engineering is a separate written scope.

  2. Cl. 02

Not the hardening of a system that already runs. That work lives under Cybersecurity Hardening.

  3. Cl. 03

Not licensed legal, financial, or customs representation. Those practices of the house have their own edges.

  4. Cl. 04

Not a scanner, a boxed platform, or a certification. PDPL, where it applies, is engineering readiness. It is not a certificate we issue.

If the note says build.

Internal platforms, operational systems, custom modules, or hardening. Each is scoped as engineering, with the same honesty.

In writing

Direct answers.

  1. 01

Do you build after the note?

Yes, when the note says build. That work is a separate written scope under Solutions. Architecture does not smuggle in a delivery contract.

  2. 02

Is this the same as hardening?

No. Architecture writes the bar for a system you will shape or build. Hardening raises the bar on a system that already runs.

  3. 03

Is this a product or a scan?

No. You leave with a note. Not a platform SKU, not a scanner, and not a certificate.

  4. 04

    Who is this for?

Government and private sector teams in Egypt that need the shape and the bar in writing before capital or code starts deciding.

The first conversation

Bring the system. We will say whether it needs a bar.

What you are about to build, replace, connect, or hold to a standard. We will say what belongs in the note, and what does not.

We reply within one business day. No public pricing. Nothing is committed until it is written. Engineering, if it follows, is a different agreement.
